Which is Greener: the Paper Towel or the Hand Dryer?

So the great debate continues, which method of drying your hands will use less energy? 
Is it the paper towel? Sometimes made of recyclable materials, however disposable waste that is thrown away after one use.
What about the hand dryer? Although the hand dryer is reusable, a lot of energy is wasted as users dry their hands several times to get results.
Which do you prefer?
